In addition to my work as a coach, I am also employed in the IT sector and recently had the opportunity to work remotely from Las Palmas as part of a cross-border work arrangement. This experience was more than just a change of location – it opened up a new dimension in my personal and professional growth.
During my stay, I was able to fully immerse myself in preparing for a 200-hour yoga retreat for aspiring yoga teachers. Four books are on my reading list, and the physical distance from my usual routine made it much easier to dive deeper into the process. At the same time, I practiced yoga more than I ever thought possible.
The combination of my IT work and my coaching practice has once again shown me the value of flexibility and openness to new experiences. The change of environment inspired me to let go of old patterns and embrace fresh perspectives – an experience that has enriched not only my yoga practice but also my work as a coach.
This stay reaffirmed my belief that growth can happen anywhere, as long as we are open to it. Change begins with the decision to take new paths.
How do you handle change? Have you ever experienced a deeper connection to something through a change of location? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
